After taking a few days off to recover from my post-tour sickness, I’m sifting through the hours upon hours of footage that was shot on this trip. I can’t believe it, really. I can’t believe that it’s me and my friends joking and laughing our way across Canada, driving across the Confederation Bridge, eating a sandwich at Schwartz’s Deli, gassing up at no-one-knows-where on the prairies, and finally playing a show with Said The Whale at the Kelowna Community Theatre.

Thank you to everyone for the food, the beds, the floors, the hugs, the handshakes, the monitor mixes, the jump start of our van, the admission of six men to sleep in a four person motel room when you knew we had tried to sneak in but you caught us with your cameras and still let us stay, and most of all thank you to those who came out to the shows. Media coverage, label talk, and charts aside, if it wasn’t for people who care and are interested in what we create, we seriously just wouldn’t be able to do this.
